In grade 3, my son learns about properties of 3D shapes and the vocabularies like vertices, faces and edges are little confusing for him. I made this little animated gif to help understand face, edge and corners (vertices) of 3D shapes - square, rectangle, cylinder and triangle. We wished to add more fun to this learning and then we had an idea of picking daily use objects at home to explore the face, corners and edges of them.
